CAN I VISIT THE SHOP?
Moonlit Fangs Tattoo is by appointment only; please book your tattoo online.

CAN I BRING A FRIEND?
Only if it has been discussed with me prior & I have given my consent. Other allowances include: multiple clients who are getting tattooed together, a client who has support needs from a caregiver, OR a scheduled walk-in/flash day.

WHO IS MOONLIT FANGS?

CAN I SEE MY CUSTOM DESIGN?  
Yes, at your appointment or consultation; this ensures we have a proper setting to check sizing, adjust placement and accommodate any changes you may want. In order to protect my artistry, as well as the time & energy exerted in creating custom designs, previews, screenshots, or full downloads will never be sent.
CAN I USE NUMBING CREAM?
I prefer that my clients DO NOT use numbing cream; if they do, they must inform me of their intent to do so. Adverse risks can occur during the procedure AND the healing of your tattoo with numbing cream use.  numbing  also eliminates your body's ability to properly communicate its need for a break; it is best to be in tune with your body so we don't push it past a point it shouldn't be.
DO YOU DO COLOUR TATTOOS?
Yes, the shop carries an array of coloured inks, and welcomes all types of projects. The artist simply specializes in, and enjoys, blackwork tattoo projects, as they align best with their artistic style. With over 15 years of professional fine art experience & a Bachelor’s of Fine art in printmaking, monochromatic projects are Jess’s preferred imagery be.

DO YOU TATTOO ANYONE UNDER THE AGE OF 18, WITH PARENTAL CONSENT?
Sorry, no. I believe a person receiving a tattoo should be an age where they are legally responsible for their decisions and actions (similar to drinking alcohol, smoking, voting or signing legally binding contracts), which is the age of 18 & 19 in Canada.  When you’re of age, we will make you an amazing tattoo! 

WHAT IS A “FLASH” TATTOO?
Flash is an industry term for pre-drawn designs that are ready to be booked and tattooed. My flash tattoos are one of a kind & are not repeated; once you claim a flash design, it will never be tattooed again. Each flash tattoo has a minimum size and price.

WHY IS FLASH BOOKED FASTER THAN CUSTOMS?
Flash is able to be booked ASAP because the designs are already finished and ready to be tattooed. Flash lets tattooists express their personal style while clients get to claim a unique piece of art. Flash designs reduce design time (or the need for redesigns), eliminate the stress and pressure of custom work, streamline the booking process, set parameters for an easier procedure, and give clients an exact understanding of size, cost and timeline.
